Part 2 room remodel

Part 2 Started approximately July 2013

We started putting in the last of the sheet rock...

Then I started to paint and put mold framing in... And of course I wanted to start a little bit of decorating.

I looked on you tube and also seen it done and figured I could do the floor tiling the back splash I'm still not comfortable with. I got the tiling floor finished though... Cement board, tiling, grout... yup I'm a pro ha ha jk

Here's some decorating I did by looking on Pintrest I really wanted to use an Ore and use it for a curtain holder.. Yeah I love it!!! Also I finished installing the wood floor. I also framed around our windows too I thought it would give it some character.

Here's my crazy closet without a door at the moment we won't have doors because our doors need to be re sized. On the side is our finished built in shelves... Also found on Pinterest.. In the the background Is what looks like a canvas, but I made it out of pallets, sheets, spray paint and vinyl lettering.. Also found on Pinterest.. gotta love Pinterest. My husband wanted the colors that I used for the bedroom because it matches his football team.. Go Dolphins!!!!

Part 1 room remodel

Part 1- Started December 2012

Our goal is to remodel our master room. We will be making two small rooms into one big room and putting a door in the bathroom for the master bedroom. also putting in a corner bath tub and a walk in shower, because, of the lack of room we will be putting the bath tub in the bedroom. ( I know... sounds weird right?) But it will be pretty cool when its all finished.. Our First step was removing the sheet rock and throwing it out... That took a lot of trash loads.

The second step was demolishing the framing between the two room and the walls against the old bath tub because the wood was deteriorating (The nice thing is we still used the old wood that was still in good shape for framing walls in the barn and the pond.

Here's some pluming that we could not do... This is part of the shower floor after the pluming was finished and the shower pluming shower heads which are on both sides... :)

The same contractor that did the pluming also re-framed the closets that were reposition to the sides of where our bed will be; which are, on both corners of the room. When you walk into the room they're on the farthest left and right corner. He also left room on the sides for me to build built in book shelves. My dad also installed all the new wiring for the receptacles and fans and dimming lights above the bed and the sides of the room. Thank you so much dad!!! Justin and I also put it the sheet rock and the closet shelves and Bar. Things are getting closer!!!

This is where our Corner tub is now after the framing and pluming was finished and the unfinished side is where the bathroom is and door etc. I also started putting in the cement floor for the tiling area and started tiling the closets. Getting closer... :)

To be continued...

Date night with daddy

Date Night
Justin went to south Carolina, so we went on a date to Boondocks, so that Justin could spend time with Abigail and myself before he left. Abby had so much fun while we played mini golf... She helped us move our balls, put them in the hole, spin the wheel, create a new spot for us to hit, or even give us the ball. Ha ha except the only problem was we weren't finished with our game yet... lol but she made it really fun for us. :)

We also ate at Boondocks restaurant we had pizza, salad and a yummy apple crisp cheese cake yum yum.
I love you Justin we miss you...

My animals and garden

Our update on our farm and Garden

Our salad and tomatoes from our garden and eggs from our
chickens and milk used for our mac and cheese

Andy our brother in law had pallet wood on base that he said we could have, so I picked it up and decided to make raised garden box's this year. Thanks Andy!!!

Abby helping me build the fence

Mr Elvis was supposed to be a chicken our neighbors and ourselves were starting to get annoyed with how loud he was. He was a cool looking rooster, so I was sort of sad he had to go.

Weser and his funny obsession with things that move...

Our dumb chickens kept trying to nest in our garden we had to fence the garden...

We spent a visit to see him at work... The weird things we do.. :)
